QUESTION: Can you run electric fans on your tranny cooler and radiator??

ANSWER: Electric fans are acceptable on trans coolers. Also acceptable on radiators ONLY if the car was issued with one from the factory.

QUESTION..Do you allow passengers in the cars during the demo?

ANSWER..NO!!!!!

QUESTION..I notice you mention in your rules that you recommend metal gas tanks and not plastic. Does this mean we cannot use plastic boat tanks?

ANSWER..You may run plastic tanks. In most cases, it is more easier to puncture a plastic tank than a metal one.

QUESTION..Why does the transmission cooler need to be in back of driver?

ANSWER..In 2003, we had a trans cooler / line hanging from a roll bar and due to an impact, a separation occured and sprayed hot fluid everywhere including the driver seat. Although probably no place is safe, there is less chance of getting a driver burned if a separation occurs in the back instead of hanging from a roll bar or in the front floor / firewall area. It is a safety concern for the driver. Please place trans cooler behind the front seat area.
